Dr. Javed Khan, a seasoned medical professional, is currently the ‘Consultant and Head of Department of Emergency Medicine’ at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), Peshawar, since 2011.

A graduate of Khyber Medical College, he holds a Post Graduate Clinical Fellowship (FRCS) in Emergency Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons, UK. Dr. Khan’s international journey includes serving as a ‘specialist registrar’ in Australia for seven years, and later as a ‘Locum Consultant in Accident and Emergency Medicine’ in Ireland.

Since his return to Pakistan in 2011, he has been instrumental in establishing the emergency department at RMI, concurrently holding the position of ‘Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine’ at Rehman College of Allied Health Sciences (RCAHS).
